The Slate of Seven

Four years ago a group of Acme Citizens came together with the common vision of guiding our community into a new kind of future, one of responsible growth that improves our quality of life.  Their commitment to supporting the kind of economic development that is right for Acme has brought many successful initiatives like the Citizens’ Advisory Committees, the Shoreline Park Master Plan, Farmland Preservation, faster fire department response, expanded sewer district, Dark Sky Ordinance, Winery Ordinance, developments like Horseshow by the Bay, Hayden Table Tennis, and a new Farmers’ Market. They accomplished all of this and more with balanced budgets every year.

This group has evolved over time.  Our new Supervisor Wayne Kladder, has demonstrated outstanding dedication and professionalism.  Township Clerk Dorothy Dunville is very enthusiastic about a bright future for Acme.  Trustees Frank Zarafonitis, Ron Hardin, Erick Takayama, and Paul Scott, continue to demonstrate their strength and proven leadership.  We are pleased that they are joined by Linda Wikle, who is running for Treasurer.  She brings extensive knowledge, integrity, and experience to this critical position.

Please join us in supporting this slate of seven outstanding candidates by voting for them in the primary election on August 5, 2008.
